Babyliss T890E | My Review
Babyliss T890E is a great trimmer for stublle and short beard. Quick and precise length settings and really shrp blades.

Below I give my honest review of the Babyliss T890E beard trimmer. I say only my own opinions, my review is not sponsored (I have bought the trimmer with my own money).
I hope the information below will help you decide if this trimmer is a good option for you or not.

Babyliss T890E | Ergonomy

First time you take the Babyliss T890E into your hand you’ll notice it is really compact.
The handle is “thin” compared to e.g. Braun BT9440 or Philips BT5515.

I like this “feature”, but you have to be aware of it, especially if you have previously been using one of the bulkier models.

I like low vibrations and the noise level is “ok” for me.
Unfortunately the trimmer is not waterproof.

Length Settings

Babyliss T890E has got one adjustable guard with the maximal setting 12 mm.
This means it works best for stubble and short beard.

The wheel dial works fine. You can hear and feel clicks when changing settings.
There‘s only one issue I have come across as for length settings.

When you set your preferred length and press on the guard harder, it will go down to the lowest setting.
I didn’t have this problem not once, because I do not press much on the guard during trimming my beard.
I only say there is a possibility of this happening, only when you press on the trimmer hard.
Babyliss T890E | The Blades

The blades are really sharp. I love how easily I cut my hair... lovely.
Regular oiling is required.

In my opinion the cutting edge of the blade is not as well exposed (available) as in many other beard trimmers, but for the basic beard shaping and creating sharp lines it’s ok.

Powering

As for the powering the Babyliss T890E offers both cordless as well as corded use.
For me this is a huge advantage.
I can be sure that even if the trimmer starts to lose the power during use I can plug it in the power socket and I can finish trimming the beard.
