Why have I chosen these trimmers?

What do I mean by „longer beard“?
As a longer beard I consider a beard about 20 mm long.
Beards that exceed this limit are becoming harder to trim using a guard.
It is because longer hairs tend to get curly and a bit tangled.
This prevents them from getting all at once into the comb, meaning not all of the hairs are cut immediately after first pass.
So you have to repeat passes to get at least a decent trim.
And this takes your time.
And energy.
And possibly can drive you crazy...
If you have had a long beard once, you know that the best way to maintain it in a good shape is trimming it with a trimmer's blade alone.
Meaning no guards.
So trimming long beards = trimmer + beard comb.
Ok, maybe a guard for sideburns or a mustache.
What Should You Focus On When Choosing A Trimmer For Short And Longer Beard?
The most important feature in trimmers that work well for both short and longer beard are the length settings.
The highest length setting should be about 20 mm.
Ideally there are separate combs for short and longer beards.
