Remington MB4200 | My Honest Review
The Remington MB4200 is a compact trimmer for stubble and short beard. Read my full review here.

Below I give my honest review of the Remington MB4200 beard trimmer. I say only my own opinions, my review is not sponsored (I have bought the trimmer for my own money).
I hope the information below will help you decide if this trimmer is a good option for you or not.

Remington MB4200 | Double Sided Blade

The Remington MB4200 is equipped with a unique double sided blade.
One side has wider teeth and can be compared to the blades of most traditional beard trimmers.

Shaving with the other side of the blade gives you a much better shave, compared to what you get with Philips OneBlades.
Ergonomy

You have to be aware of the compact size of this model.
It is noticeably smaller compared to most of “standard” beard trimmers on the market.

The Remington MB4200 is much more compact compared to the most of the "regular" beard trimmer on the market. Here compared to the Philips BT5502.
I’m not saying it is a bad thing.
Working with Remington MB4200 was ok for me, no problems.
Remington MB4200 | Length settings

As for setting your preferred length, I found the adjustable guard a bit awkward.
To change the settings you have to press the button first and this way release the lock.

The thing is that when you press the button it is quite tricky to set precisely the length of your choice.

Often instead of moving the guard by 1 mm, I have changed the length by2 or even 3 mm.

After time you’ll probably get used to it, but it can be a bit annoying at first.
Blade Heating

Another thing you should know about Remington MB4200 is the fact that the blade is getting hot after running a minute or two.
No big deal for me, but maybe you will find it a downside.
Surely the heating will be less if you remember to oil the blades regularly.
